Rear Pad Replacement Brand Question.
Ok guys I'm sorry I'm posting this but I cant find anything on rear pad replacement even after I use the search function on here. I just bought a set of Akebono front pads for my car and I found a set for the rear on this site called autopartswarehouse.com Now on the site it was titled as rear brake pad "set" but in the description it said sold individually. So I clicked the "chat to live employee" button thing and it was someone from india called Sarwan. So i simply asked hey how many pads do I get when I buy this? 1 or 2? Because it does say set in the title but individually in the quantity. Then he told me that I need 4 pads for the rear so I was like wow this guy doesnt know what hes talking about and he kept forcing me to checkout.
Basically I want to know where I can find Akebono pads for the rears on a legit site or site someone has bought off of here before.
BTW i bought the front of tirerack..I wish they sold the rears.

You do need 4 pads for the rear.. two per side.
I used dirt cheap Autozone pads for the rear. The originals lasted 76k miles and the rear is responsible for little of the braking. No performance difference whatsoever. Save some money that way.
Can't help you with how to find the others. I use OEM Benz fronts only.

Petey, I have bought tons of parts from autowarehouse dot com Their website is often times misleading..but i can assure you the akebono rears come as a set - which is 4 pads-two per side (as in an inner and outer pad.)
