Slow starting
Ok, let's see what your thoughts are:
Although my wife's car is a SLK, I'd rather ask this question here, since I have a better feel for everyone.
A 2003 SLK320, Manual, with 43,000 miles. New MB battery as of June, but still has the original plugs. Lately she has noticed that randomly the starter will spin for a "while" before it starts. I first got to see this happen last night, and it did take significantly longer than normal for it to fire off. It normally starts immediately.
My plans currently are to run a bottle of Techron through it (it gets that about every 6 months and is time) and probably go ahead and change the plugs for good measure.
Any other ideas jump out at anyone?

how long is long? an extra 2 seconds or like 10? I actually have noticed that mine is starting slower then it use to i think or i am crazy i don't know. still is smooth and no wired noise or anything just an extra second or two till it starts.

I only heard it the first time last night, but asking her is something like an extra 8-10 seconds. I'm going to change plugs as soon as I get time as a first step and see if that improves it.
It was long enough I noticed immediately and think "Oh - this is what she's been talking about, maybe I should stop just saying 'Yes, dear' and try to figure it out."

hahahaha its like that's a universal phrase i get that all the time.....but really though fresh plugs will make a huge difference, my gf 300 sel will stall to the point of just cranking and not starting at all if i let the plugs go on too long
