Lubricate Door Latch: How to?
My passenger side door is beginning to require quite a bit of force to completely engage the latch.
Anybody have experience lubricating the door latches on these cars?
Any specific grease points/adapter I should know about?
If not, I was thinking about just spraying white lithium grease in the door side of the latch.
At this point, I'm assuming its NOT
I haven't taken the panel off (yet) and am hoping I won't need to.

- the door check/stay thing
- the hinge itself
- requires adjustment.
- bad striker

govertime, if you observe the door very closely while closing, you should be able to identify the reason why it's difficult to close. Is the door hard to move from fully open position up to the door latch? Or, it's difficult to close the door AFTER reaching the latch?
In the past, for me, white lithium grease dried up after few weeks. So, I 've been using Silicone spray.

Autozone Sells a Thick Grease forgot the name but its like 3 bucks for the can i use that on the latches.

Good point pcy,
It's difficult to close the door AFTER reaching the latch so I believe that rules out the hinge/stop/etc.

Have you personally used that Coastal multipurpose grease on the latch for this issue? How did you apply it? I envision glopping a buttload on and wiping off the excess.
