just wanted to say thanks for a great set of 194s off your EBAY account (I know its cheaper direct from you, but I had a lot of EBAY bucks to use up :P)

As our Facebook subscribers already know, we've cut over our 194 Wedge LEDs to our new V3 design.

We're constantly exploring new technologies and techniques to present the best possible product out there for you. This new design utilizes a "box" top design will utilize a larger CREE diode and output slightly more lumen (brighter) and give better 360 degree lighting output. The big thing is we've introduced a new high temp resistant non-conductive gel substrate to the resistor component that has a much higher melting point than solder. This will help keep components in place during all but the largest of current surges which results in heat spikes. This is a problem with all aftermarket LEDs where these heat spikes reach the melting point of the solder which causes the resistors to "float" freely and allow gravity and engine/car vibration to cause component shifting. With this gel, everything is held in place until the current surge passes and the solder re-solidifies with everything held in place.

These have already undergone months of live testing from our volunteers and have met with success.

I'll get pictures posted later this week of the updated design.

Basically we're trying to find a band-aid solution if you want plug and play with no wire splicing. The only real way to fix it is to isolate the cause of the current surge which is difficult and expensive to do, or splice in pulse resistors which will act as surge protectors. What we've done represents the best solution out on the market however given the size and easy of install limitations and will work for a good chunk of minor surging, but (full disclosure) large enough surge comes along, it can still take out components. Can't get around simple laws of thermaldynamics. However, that's why we offer 1 year warranty so at the very least if you do have a problematic vehicle, you'll get a fair amount of use for a single purchase.

Damn it, I just bought some halogen Sylvanias. Maybe I'll "accidentally" break my lights so I can buy some LEDs

New design. The 8smd were our old V3. We've moved to a 5smd "box" design with larger diodes so it'll actually be brighter than previous design even with fewer diodes. Also the box design gives a better 360 illumination which can leverage the halogen reflector housing in a better manner.

I checked out your website for the HD kit for the low beam headlight and fog light and its says you currently do not have any in stock. Will you be receiving new shipments soon?

We're actually moving out of the hid market due to increased regulations by DOT and customs against importation of HID kits. What we have left in stock are allocated to potential warranty claims.

Do you recommend any other brands for an HID upgrade? I don't really trust the sellers on eBay because most of the products don't last and usually have problems

Just installed my 194 wedge bulb that I ordered from you (4500K)... looks great!

AZN Optics is now an direct distributor for Morimoto HID kits. These are top of the line units with quality engineering behind. Initially we will be offering H7 5000K HID kits, but will slowly be expanding our lineup till we carry the full range of Morimoto products.

Since their debut in 2011, the Morimoto Elite Systems have earned their reputation amongst many as the aftermarket's best HID kit. We urge you to check out their spec's below, Read the Reviews, Google "Morimoto Elite", and then decide for yourself. We're sure proud of it!

The 'Moto 3Five H7 bulbs feature: Ceramic bases for precise alignment giving you a clean beam pattern. Quartz glass tubes to minimize UV output and maximizing luminosity. Their Praxair (US) metal halide salts produce very accurate color temperatures.

The 'Moto ballasts feature: Compact, clutter-free design with integrated igniters. Completely weatherproof body & potted internals. Braided tech-flex insulated high voltage line enhances durability and looks, the interior lining prevents EMI interference. Laser etched graphics, aluminum fittings & mounting hardware. "SS" (SpeedStart technology) greatly enhances bulb warm-up speed without artificially high start amperage, now comes standard as of July 2012.

The 'Moto Heavy Duty Relay Wire harness features: Independent 40amp relays with LED indicator lights. Corrosion resistant ceramic fittings are rubber coated throughout. 14 gauge stranded copper wire protected by durable black tech-flex mesh looks like a factory harness when installed. Designed to be completely plug n play.

The Standalone Can-Bus harness replaces the relayed battery harness with two individual sub harnesses. Recommended for vehicles that recognize when a bulb is out, these contain a series of capacitors and resistors to trick the car into thinking nothing has changed and help you avoid annoying "bulb out" warnings. Great for many modern Euro applications

Let's not forget the 5-year warranty on the entire kit. The Morimoto Elite system is designed to run for 2500 hours, so that's what it's guaranteed for. Don't let vendors with their BS "lifetime" warranties fool you into thinking you're buying something well-made with that lame excuse. (no HID's will last you a lifetime, and if you think that company will be around forever anyways let alone pick up the phone when you have a problem, think again).

WHATS INCLUDED:

Standard Equipment Includes the Following:
Ballasts: Morimoto 3Five
Bulbs: Morimoto H7
Wire Harness: Morimoto Standalone Canbus
Hardware: Ballast brackets, 12V test lead

Morimoto is probably the best aftermarket HID kit on the market.

I had issues with many other aftermarket kits on the Cayman S. I had used three different kits/manufacturers (including the "lifetime warranty" ****ty DDMTuning ones) and they ALL blew out within a short amount of time. I decided to drop some money and get the Morimoto kit and it has been flawless ever since. I'm also running the Morimoto D2S bulbs on the factory bix on my w203 and they're great as well.

I've always been pleased with my experience from Aznoptics and I'm glad that they've gone with the best in the business for HID kits.

Morimoto kits offer the 35W and 55W.. which one would you recommend? Other people have told me the 35W last longer than the 55W but the 55W have 40% more light output.

55W is only 20% higher lumen, but at a cost of 20% less life. Also with 55W kit (depending on where you're installing) you worry about the added heat associated that could melt housing component. I've seen both, and we opted to carry initially the 35W line as the light output difference was negligible really.

I am interested in a set of the 5000k city lights and a set of the 5000k festoon lamps for the license plate. How much for each? Also, how do I place an order?
