johand- Yeah they do look great and change up the entire look of the rear at night..
LILBENZ230- Why dont you want to take it out? it's not very hard. If you had trouble removing the handle, you have to use a flat head and pry down the little clip looking thing in the handle/grip.. That gave me hell to find out.

On the blk 06 I went to see it earlier this week but the doors didnt close properly, so the acutual car is bent. I have my bid in on a red 03 thats a bank repo. I'll let you know this thursday.

That's exactly what I play to do bro. I have came to the conclusion that with the winters getting worse 4WD for me is a must because I can't be getting stuck with "the wrong wheel drive". I have considered staying benz and getting a AMG But that'll be later down the road. I'm holding out for a little while longer until I find what I'm really looking for.. a 06 evo 9 gsr(5spd.) Ssl in electric blue(eb) or apex silver.. the C280 is cutting it for now, but in a few years ill be back in the Mb game with a C63 hopefully lol.

Trey is correct. When I had DWS tires, rated for snow use, on my C230K it got around just fine.
Interesting that you'll be back with "hopefully" a C63 in a few years. You planning to move to a warm climate? The C63 has no traction on dry pavement. I swear I hate that <james may voice> idiotic Mercedes </voice>

You have a 4Matic right? Lol we have been getting A LOT of snow this winter and driving my car makes me wish I had AWD. RWD in snow is so annoying, my car can barely make it up any incline. There was light snow the other day 2-5 inches and I got stuck down town and just left the car there so I had to walk to my doc appointment which was like a mile away. Especially living in NY id stay with AWD if I were you, all AMGs are RWD right?
+1.. Winter tires and some 17's on a evo or c63 or C55 would get you through the winter. It's funny because my buddy has a 05 e46 m3 and bmw reccomends to turn off DSC in snow because all it does it cut the throttle.

) I have to take off my two front wheels today because I dropped in a bad pothole and theres a shim and bump everytime the front left tire makes a rotation.
