Navigation Comand CD Set?
Anyone know in which month Mercedes will release the 2011 Navigation CD set?
I have a 2002 c230k and it came with the factory navigation but without the cd. So I am planing on buying them but I am willing to wait for the newest 2011 if it is coming out in a few months.
Secondly, does anyone know if my 2002 c230k requires the 1 dvd navigation disk? Or does it require the 10 cd navigation disks?

You may want to check the Navteq website. They are the ones that make the navi disks. I am pretty sure COMAND navigation only used the CD set prior to 2005 rather than the 1 DVD 2005+

Navteq doesnt have much information on the older Mercedes, only the ones with a DVD based Navigation system.
Mine is a 10 disk CD based, so I had to go to the dealer for info. Apparently they still have the 2010 CD set and are expecting the 2011 in February.
Anyone know any good Mercedes OEM parts website that offers these navigation disks for wholesale prices?

According to my favorite parts guy...I asked him about this last fall after I did my navigation retrofit...they come out sometime about mid-March, normally. He said it had varied +/- a month over the years.
I need to get an updated/full set also, so if you find a source please let us know. I don't remember what he gave me as the wholesale price at the time, but it was pretty decent, I was tempted, but wanted to hold off for the 2010 set, then never did it.
