do you know whether I can play a music CD using ONLY the Euro Comand system (without having CD changer); I meant of course while I am not navigating so I would take the nav CD out of the place and replace it with Music CD.

Yes, the Euro COMAND will play music cd's. Mine seems to have issues with some cd-r's, though.
