Clutch delay valve in clutch hydraulic circuit

Does anyone know if there is a clutch delay valve in our cars like the E39 BMWs in line with the hydraulic circuits.

The clutch in my car definitely feels non-linear in take-up and I don't think it is because it is old.

See

for details.

I haven't had a chance to go under the car and check this, but that's what I think is happening.
