For the Canadians on the forum, who have set Xenon = Present (Installed HID's/BiX, etc)...what happens during the day?

Do the Bix/HID's come on at full power day and night and the city lights come on only during the night, or do the BiX/HID's come on at only partial power during the day and full power at night?

So the HID's get dimmer in the day (run at 35W) and full brightness (55W) during the night??

no the oem hids only operate at 35w

im assuming their not oem, in that case it will just be 55w all the time.

Yep theyre DDM Tuning HID's.

I need to find a cheaper way of getting Xenon = Present. The f&^%$rs here want $150 for the 2 min job. I know a buddy in TO who has STAR...waiting to be able to get my car to him.

haha, i was lucky. i found a pair of oem on craigslist and the guy happened to work at a benz collision facility and he did it for me for free

Even an indy shop here in Ottawa who have STAR wants $130. Insane....especially considerings its a 5 min job.

I had the dealer programmed the xenon present code
everything works normal
HID turns on during the day = same as night

Thanks guys. For now im stuck with manually switching on the headlights everytime I drive (day or night) and switching them off after. Kinda getting annoying..lol.
