howcome tiptronic on the C is so different compared to my S500?

howcome tiptronic on the C is so different compared to my S500?
i was driving my son's C320 Sport and i decided to use the tiptronic feature. it feels far different than my S500 Sport's tiptronic. I thought that they made the shifters the same. has anyone else noticed this?

I'll bet there are a lot of people on this board who've never driven an S (plus I have a 6-spd on my C240). So, you might want to mention what the differences are that you noticed... just a thought.

2002 Mercedes S500
when i shift gears, the car.....well i dont know how to explain it.......but it jerks backs violently. But when i use the same option in my S500, it doesnt jerk like that. Very smooth shifting. Could this be a mechanical problem?

2002 Mercedes S500
the C320 is my 17 year old son's car, SLK320 is 21 year old daughter's car, ML430 is my wife's car, and S500 is mine. I actually buy properties and rent them out to people. So basically i buy houses and make money off of it. I also own a computer consulting company who works close with Pfizer, a pharmaceutical company. Plus my wife works as a stock broker, she is constantly meeting with clients and flying back and fourth to New York. So this means we have to relocate to New York City. I have my eye on this loft in Soho. But im pretty sure the kids dont enjoy city life. Hopefully we will relocate when my son Ethan goes off to college

Carter: what a coincidence thats what my family does on the side. We have 27 rental properties that range from 2 bedroom apartments to 1700 sq ft houses. The money is pretty good too. Its alway nice to have someone else pay your mortgage on your properties. I made a promise to myself that by the time I'm 21 I want to have 5 properties giveing me atleast 600 or so a month in positive cashflow.

2002 Mercedes S500
yes, a very good venture to pursue. so far our real estate company made about 2.3 mill since 1991. we started out with a small house in kisimee, but now we have about 42 properties, and just today i sealed deals to 3 more properties.....in London. My eye is now on a home in Hong Kong. We are going worldwide hopefully. My son is CEO of the companies, he works for me currently. so i know it is going in good hands! Anyone have properties for sale? how about rent and if rent, how much are you paying the landlord..... i mean houses, not apartments.
