Compass in rear view mirror?
Just wondering if our MERCEDES w203 ever came with the compass in the mirror trick, lol...I mean it is a mercedes and these things come standard in bottom of the line chevy's from 2000 for goodness sake. And I know they come on newere benzes and I'm sure in older ones too of other classes just not sure if this was ever an option or something that can be added seemlessly to ours.

haha ya I know...I mean I have a built in gps/stereo so that covers it for now...just saying you know. Kind of silly that MB wouldn't add this simple bit of technology that would really cost a thing...but then again this is MB were talking about.

Yes, it is funny how we have built-in oil sensors that tell you exactly how much oil you have, rain sensors, light sensors, brake sensors, etc., but have no idea where we're going.
Actually, it would not be surprising to me that this might have been a calculated move to encourage people to step up to the nav. MB is sneaky!!

lol oh they're not sneaky....they out right rip you off sometimes and they don't care if we know because we can't do anything about it.

MB’s of all kinds.
Never seen it or even herd of it on the rear view mirror. I know that some W203's came with the compass in the menu where the speedo is located. A couple people on here even have it.

oh really...Essentially the same thing to me, is there anyway to get this STARed to be activated or do you have to have NAV?
