Pagids

You guys have told me that a good cheap replacement to the OEM pads are the pagids.. but where do I get them? Apparently from another thread, MB uses the Pagids, therefore I do not want to order the exact same pads I already have on my car. I cannot stand this brake dust any longer!!

I found a site that sells the Pagids for about $55. But they list the Pagids as the stock fronts but Textar as the stock rears and Pagid as an option. I doubt MB will use two different brands of brake pads in the same car, but not sure which one is the official stock brand...

got em

Well I just went ahead and ordered the Pagid brake pads, both front and rear, today through buymbparts.com. The total was $91.77. Shipping was free since I spend over $75.

Only problem, I know zero about cars, can I still install these or should I take them somewhere to be installed? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You said you know very little about cars, and this usually means you probably don't have the appropriate tools to do the intallation. So I'd suggest you take them to somewhere else.

Let me know how the buying process goes, because I'm getting tired of the monkey queals

I ordered the pagid pads from buymbparts.com yesterday evening, but my total was $93.60 instead. But guess what, they've already arrived on my desk at 10am today!! So I don't mind the couple of dollar difference than webbersworld's order.

I looked at the shipping label, the package was shipped from Newark. People in CA should order from them if interested because their HQ is in GA so we pay no tax but get super fast shippment!

do the Pagid brake pads have a spot for the brake wear sensor? if yes, do you also order the wear sensors?

No. The Pagid pads do not have the brake wear sensor holes. You need to get new sensors only if the current ones are worn.
