That should work depending on the offset. The speedometer won't be off.

Spec for that tire.

and why P7000 SS? i dont hear great reviews about them...it was sooooooo noisy on my friend's E46.

Consider Dunlop Sp9000

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT get P7000s!!!! They are one of the worse tires in the market, they are noisy, rough, poor on wet.

225 or 235 should be okay for 8x18. 245 is a bit too stretchy.

My favorite tire is gotta be Toyo T1-S. I'm using the third set on my car now. They are very good on dry and wet. Very durable and very economical! For A/S, I'll highly recommend Bridgestone RE950.

i heard good things about the 555. P-Zero are good..but they wear out really fast...also..dont forget michelin PS...they are just too expensive.

I haven't had a chance to try T1-S...whats that bridgestone tire..the name just slip my mind...something 3....arrgh

Here are your exact rims (even the size) on my other car, a 94 Mitsubishi 3000GT. The rubber is Nitto

They are excellent wheels for the price. I have never bent one, the chrome has held up nicely, the screws around the perimeter appear to be real, although it is not really multi-piece. The paint has held up nicely also with about 40,000 miles on them. (The car has 130,000 miles in that photo!)

Hi, new to cars here. What is meant by "offset"? I also have 18x8 Millie Miglia Evo 5 wheels w/ Bridgestone Potenza S-03 235/40 ZR18 tires and front tires are rubbing with sharp turns. Any way to correct this? Is this wheel/tire combo wrong?

Thanks.

Tire Rack has a good explanation of offset here.

I think that tire is too wide for the front. I'm not positive though, and maybe someone with more experience with wide tires could say for certain.
