Interior Cleaning Question
I know that I am probably going to catch a lot of crap for this, but I have a C230 with the cloth interior, in oyster. It is impossible to keep clean. Does anyone have any suggestions about what products to use, etc....?
I didn't get the leather because I am not really into tons of options, but now I wish that I had just for the fact that It would be easier to clean. My NSX has light leather interior, and it always looks great.
I searched the forum, but only found that there were several posts on leather interior.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've had good results using the Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner (you can find them on the web). Spray some on the stain, agitate the fibers with a clean brush, then blot off the area with a clean towel. (Note: it is necessary to use CLEAN brushes and towels, otherwise you can transfer the dirt from the brush/towel to the seat)
This works very well when our 'crumb-crunchers' grind another strawberry PopTart into my wife's grey interior, or when they track in mud on their shoes (always putting their feet on the seats for some reason).
I've also had reasonable results using Resolve (found in any supermarket), and the same procedure.
If that doesn't work, try one of the rental steam cleaners from Home Depot or Lowe's. They usually have small hand-held attachments for cleaning upholstered furniture (which is what your seat really is).
After you get the seats clean, you can spray them with Scotchguard (or similar) to make them easier to clean in the future. Good luck.

You can have leather added for about 1200$, I really like the look of light color interior on a car, but there is no way I could keep it clean.
