So, it sounds like the steering wheel controls and bluetooth are built in (and included)? But, will need to purchase the SD card for the GPS. Does this sound right?

Yes, post pix please.
The SD Card is included as well. Once you get the unit, you have to contact the seller who will email you a link to download the navigation software.

Who is the Nav software manufacturer?
How does the Nav software compare with TomTom or Garmin?

You are correct d1no. cargpsnavi.com is a SCAM SITE. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM cargpsnavi.com
The phone number listed is phony.
The irony is that the site is hosted in Provo, Utah.

I did another search and found that some bimmer owners have already been scammed.

And the scary thing is if you do a google search using this link the scammer has been extremely active on many many forums, using virtually the same wording.
The scam website is getting about 2500 hits per month.

Sorry for the delay fellas....here are some pics of the Dynavin Unit installed

Here's what the iPod control looks like with my iPod connected

Here's with the navigation on....there's other views you can set like 3D or 2D, etc.

Here's a screenshot of the Bluetooth. Very simple to sync your iPhone to and has a mini mic for you to talk thru, allows for handsfree talking thru your speakers. Sound quality was surprising very good, better than some bluetooth earpieces.

That's the main reason I went with a US distributor...didn't want to get scammed. You can email Trent from CarAudioCraze.com and maybe set up a groupbuy. He was very responsive to my emails with no surprises. His email is support@CarAudioCraze.com

I'll shoot him an email to give him a heads up that he'll be getting some emails from mbworld.org fellas !

This is something I must have.

Philly, how does it perform? Is it snappy? Any regrets? WinCE5.0 is a major bonus for application support.

No regrets whatsoever. You can also add the 3G modem and have Wifi internet connection from the unit. Best unit on the market for the price and best of all, it's looks OEM which was what I wanted. I've had the Kenwood and Pioneer double din before, but I'd rank this higher.

The Dynavin runs Nav N Go iGO v8.3.X navigation software but you can run TomTom or Garmin instead if you prefer but you have to find a way to download those software. I want to run the Garmin navigation software myself but still haven't figured out where or how to get the software. Researching this option on http://dynavin.freeforums.org (this is the Dynavin's official forum). But so far, the iGo navigation software isn't that bad. Just need to get use to it since I'm more familar with the Garmin and TomTom navigations.

Here's a link that provides a review of the Dynavin unit, it's based on a unit for the bmw's which has the same functions and features as the W203 unit.

Philly did you install yourself?

Or did you take it to a professional mechanic? Was wondering if this is something I could do myself or would I need to take it somewhere to get installed. Any drilling, splicing, soldering, etc? It would be great if there are any installation instructions in PDF or otherwise so that I could take a look at how easy it is to install.

Thanks for a the great post and pictures I am salivating now.

Here is the manual link. This manual is for the A series, but the functions are identical - just a slightly different faceplate.

Installed it myself. It's plug and play, no splicing required. The instructions could be written a little better but it's very intiutive even for someone like me who knows nothing about car audio install.

I spoke with Trent from CarAudioCraze and he's very open and willing to do a group buy but haven't told me any specifics as far as discounts based on the number of buyers. Whoever is interested can start up a Group Buy list and I'll forward it to Trent.

Wow, this looks awesome, I just dislike the way you have to use the touchscreen to call out, but that's not too bad. Would be interested in a group buy if someone wants to start one.

You can make phone call out via phone or the touchscreen.

Count me in for a group buy

And then someone would have to tell me how to take existing panel out and put the new one in.

Thanks

Phily do you have installation instructions?

The manual does not show how to actually install. Is there a link for that?

No but the harness that comes with the unit plugs directly into the Mercedes factory harness and everything else plugs into unit. Hard to explain without pics but trust me, you can't go wrong.

Thanks but I am still stuck on how to take the panel out

Is there a simple way to take the current module out? I just went to the car and tried to remove it. Does not move at all. Where are the screws, if any? Any help would be appreciated.
