If you have 'Audio 20' system on your car, you can buy an adapter that will plug in to the wiring harness (under A pillar) - that will give you AUX connectivity. What you connect to that AUX cable is up to you. If you connect your MP3 player, it will play MP3 songs.

Do you have the CD changer in the glove box?

The Mercedes iPod connection kit also connects into the AUX in of your head unit. It gives you a dock connector that goes in your glove box and gives you full control of your iPod from the steering wheel. You can use this in conjunction with your CD Changer if you have one. They can both live together on the fiber loop. I have both in my car, along with the Sirius satellite radio tuner (Mercedes)
