I'm torn between doing 3 things:
AMG style front bumper
New stereo

New wheels

Thoughts?

Not sure about that wheel choice but almost anything is better than the standard alloys on your car that look almost exactly like generic random japanese econo-car wheel covers.

"annoyance" and "self-righteousness", amoung others...
Wheels.
Check out leozip's thread, "first pics of my kompressor" or whatever its called.
he has non-sport fascia, and damn it looks soooooo much better with those BBS wheels. And then with his lowered suspension, forget the AMG front fascia. it doesnt need it.

Unfortunately I can't go that big... well, I guess I could, but living in DC, car wheels get eaten for breakfast by bottomless canyons masquerading as potholes. I repeatedly bent the 17's with low-profile Z's on my 9-3.
I kinda like these too, for 16's

Another option might be to get some stock 16 CLK wheels.
But yeah, I do hate the stove-burner wheels that are on there, like every econo-box.
Lol i was going to say the same thing when i saw that.. If you don't have the cash flow right now to upgrade i would hold off on rims & head unit.
If you going to upgrade your rims hit up 18's. But if it was me i would save up some cash and not get some clearance rims.

Cash isn't an issue. I genuinely like the look of both the links I posted. The issue of 17's or 18's is that larger wheels with low profile tires die really REALLY easily in this area. Also, I want to get away from the stock look.
the only stock 16" that looks good is the C280's which is the wheel on trini's car. aftermarket 16" all look ridiculous small.
btw, what 17" did you had on the 9-3? the stock Viggen had 17". maybe they are just soft rims.

Im not trying to be mean just trying to save you from getting laughed at. But the look with after market 16's inch rims will look like a civic. Your looking at moda rims. The cheapest rims tire rack offers. Please just save your cash and upgrade to something unique.
I do have to change my rear tires every 6-8 months.. But i drive like im in nascar.
I love my 18's over my 19's
Got scared that the turbo would die and sold for the Merc. Regret it a bit... I'd buy another Viggy in a heartbeat.
Pretty sure Sport Edition is cheaper
...but yeah, I get what you're saying.
Yes, the stock Viggen rims. I loved that car. 2.3L 4 cyl turbo? hell yes.

Point taken. We do have a lot of gold civics in the DC area with Folger's coffee can mufflers.

Any considerations in running this wheel setup, that looks like it's of a C43?
A friend of mine in a Merc club up in Connecticut has a set he'd be willing to sell me, that has relatively light use.
