Post Need Help on Bluetooth Device for 2005 C230 Kompressor

I Have a 2005 C230 sport which is prewired( I believe it is 'cause its got some connection wiring imbedded in the armrest) and I think this connector cable in the center console is for Bluetooth adapter. Mine doesn't have the receiving connecting puck for the device in the center console but has the wiring and what seems to be a cable with a female receiving end for the device. I checked on (wireless4mb.com) and either of the two listed models will work with an Iphone 3G, and both being compatible with my car. So from what I'm guessing, i probably won't need to buy the full MHI car kit for my car but just the black puck(Bluetooth Module B67876131) and Contact Plate/Harness. Please let me know if I am right in assuming this and if anyone has done this on their W203

Sorry, you have to buy the entire MHI system

Sorry, you don't just purchase the contact plate. You need the full MHI system which will cost around $1,500 + the cost of the puck itself. The model years 2005&2006 had prewiring standard for MHI, the 2007 model year did not. This has been discussed thoroughly on the forums. It's an expensive OEM upgrade.

You can get the OEM kit on ebay for around $900.
