I need to replace the ball joint on the [front] lower control arm on my '04 C320 4Matic. On EPC, the ball joint is not shown separately; entire control arm is shown as one piece. New control arm on RMeuropean is around $450 for one control arm. I prefer replacing in pairs; that makes the total around $900. That's a bit too much ...

Do you guys know where I can buy the ball joint separately? I will have the shop press the old one out and I will have then press the new one in.

for the non 4matic, you can't buy it seperately. I'm sure its the same for yours. Im suprised yours cost that much though. Mine is only 120 for the lower arm, and thats also oem.

based on what I see on the on-line parts places, 4Matic cars have a single control arm (individual parts are not available).

RMeuropean's price is $435 for front lower control arm (for 4Matic)
Parts dot com price is $325 for the same.

Interesting, $100 difference on the same part. I will keep searching...
