I am not sure if anybody has ever requested to Cali mambers for pictures of the % tint they have installed on their MB. I bought the tint protective moleskin but still unsure as far as what % I should go with. If you have pictures, please post. I would like to get and idea and maybe push the limit allowed for tinting depending on how it looks.

no pics, but i have 20 in back and 35 front two. i've gotten a fix it ticket for my front two, but it was a cloudy day.

15% rear, 35% front.
Never been harrassed for the tint, in my mind since there's an obvious difference.
Guess I'm lucky since the person above has about the same and got a tik.

I likw thw way your car looks with the tint, my gues is that you have black interior. (leaning towards this %)

I have issues with the police without tint... im scared to get my car tinted.. i hate being pulled over.. i mean i can't risk getting pulled over haha.. But if your going to tint your car.. get your whole car tinted 20% it will look nice.. If your out on a cruise make sure your front windows are rolled down half way

Just rememeber.. an older person driving a benz with window tint is less likely to get pulled over than a younger driver with tint.. person across the street has there car tinted 20% all around and has had it like that for 5 years with no issues.. Cops pick and choose

Yeah black interior inside. When I get around to it I'll be doing the windshield 50-70%. No problems with the cops whatsoever, knock on wood.
Like the guy said above, it's pretty much pick and choose with them. If you have the power moonroof you can always slide it open around a cop so it illuminates the front windows.

anything below 70% tint in the front will get you a ticket. It doesn't matter if you pick 35 or 15% if they want to give you a ticket, they will. So i suggest you just go with a tint % you like and not have the cop factor determine it, because if your below 70% eventually you will get a ticket. So might as well just drive around in something you like.

the copper said "i'm gonna give you a fix-it ticket", but on the ticket it only said tint violation. i'm gonna go pretend i didn't know it's a fix-it and just pay the fines like $35. LOL

That's the way to go.. 35 bucks isn't that much anyways.
I'm assuming the consequences aren't harsh if you don't take it off first offense and just pay the fee, right?

it's either pay the fine or remove the tint and pay a smaller fine. they're not that much anyway. just cost slightly more to remove it and then re tint it. lol
