CEL ON

05 c240. I replaced the battery and did the oil change using moble one 0w40. Soon after CEL came on and read p0131, p0151. I reset the code by disconnecting the battery then CEL came off. Drove the car for two hrs on the hwy it seems fine so far. Whats wrong with it?
CEL will come back on again?
Otherwise whats the best bet?

OBD-II Description P0131 - Oxygen O2 Sensor Low Voltage (Bank1, Sensor2)

  • High resistance or open on O2 signal circuit
Possible Solutions

  • Replace faulty sensor
  • Repair short, open, or high resistance on o2 signal circuit

Get an OBDII reader that can clear the codes, they're inexpensive and useful for any car.

Nothing, no codes, be happy.

Time will tell but my guess is no. If it does, verify it's the same code(s) again before troubleshooting.
