Driving Position?
The cars/SUV's I have had before had the basic adjustments.....seat recline/fore/aft/head rest - and all manual. Now that I have an electrically adjustable seat and have a multitude of adjustments, I find myself always tinkering with seat position. Thanks.
1. Move the seat as far back as possible as long as you still can comfortably operate the pedals.
2. Adjust the seat back angle so that both hands comfortably grip the 12 o'clock point of the steering wheel with your arms and back straight and relaxed.
Voila!
I prefer to have the seat fairly low and the steering wheel tilted as low as possible, but YMMV.
Hope this helps.

Don't you mean your hands should be placed at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions? Only Nascar drivers insist on using 12:00! Also, your arms should be comfortably relaxed with elbows bent, not as you indicated, "...arms...straight..." Your legs should also be comfortable distance to be able to depress the clutch pedal inorder to release it.

If you follow these 12 o'clock recommendations ADJUSTING the SEAT, then you'll likely feel comfortable with your hands "at 3 and 9" and your arms "comfortably relaxed with elbows bent" WHEN DRIVING.
Look around you. A lot of people feel "comfortable" sitting as close to the steering wheel as their belly allows. Talk about "comfortable"...
BTW, do you actually drive with your hands at 3 and 9? You'd then be the only one that I know of.
