Quote: Well I have been looking at the front AMG sport bumper and also the front lip, Bi-Xenons, a set of D2Forged rims, and a set of vogtland lowering springs.
Our F.M.S. Series is currently in development, and will be released in early 2011. Its going to be a entry level, multi-piece forged line, designed for entry level luxury and sports cars.

Might be right for you!

Must be your mods? Our 07 IS350 (also SGM) averages 24mpg consistently, and high 20s on the highway. It's also just as fast as the 135i, which is faster than any non-AMG W203 by a significant advantage. However, as much as I love it and all its features (like cooled seats!), it feels like the Japanese car that it is. The Germans have some sort of unquantifiable feel about them. They feel more organic in spite of their complexity, where the Japanese feel like a video game. That all being said, the IS350's interior is LIGHTYEARS ahead of the W203 and even W204.

Could be... However the intake helps a bit on mpg. I average 22.2mpg city and high 20's highway, IF I accelarate slowwwwww. Not that I am a speed demon but like you acknowledge, IT'S FAST, it's honestly hard to keep a slow pace with this car, 1/4 throttle and your already two cars ahead of everyone else at a green light.

Dont get me wrong I dont hate this car. Cooled seats are the amazing in Florida leather sun, the interior is in fact LIGHTYEARS ahead of any W204 including the c63. And it's a video game I am willing to play all day
But......

100% agreed, no one does it like the germans.
That is why I have come to the conclusion that an E63 is next, no way I would go back into a slower car MB or not.

Dude we think alike, I am in the works of buying a big brake kit off an is-f over on the Lexus forums. However the guy is at best flaky, maybe I'll end up painting them and call it a day. I only really want the isf kit for looks, The way I see bigger brakes is for stopping added power and we all know the IS350 isn't too much for that.

To end that note, this car is sick. I will post some interior pics later.

nice... interior looks just like my friends silver IS350... Have you worked the wiring so you can have the DVD playing while driving?

I'm more of the Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust fan for luxury cars... such a sexy exhaust note. But Greddy has a good growl too. I think its the rolled tip I dont like on the SP2

Heres the tanabe medalion.

First off glad to hear from you guys, ive been out for a while now but I am back and glad to see the family is still out here showing the noobs (myself included)

phister I havent, I've been reading up on some threads on the bypass however easy it looks, some guys have actually locked themselves out of the system and had to go to the dealership to get it reset. still scared about that

I actually love the medallion but I am the opposite end, even tho they do fit the luxury world, I like them for honda/nissan/etc.. I have a medallion long tip on my civic, sounds beautiful. I love the greddy except for the tip, the rolled effect is still growing on me. What I really want is an Fsport exhaust but @ $1,200 brand new I can wait lol

frank I found this guys selling a CF interior kit, seems damn good quality and fitment but I have the very light leather and still dont know how ill feel about it. :/

The car's identical to our's inside and out (except stock here). Do you keep it in ECT PWR mode? LOL the car is almost stupidly responsive in that mode. The slightest throttle input and it's downshifted 3 gears and jumped +40mph. I surprised the hell out of a Chrysler 300C Hemi the other day at a stop light in the IS.. left him floundering.

I just wish they hadn't gone through all the trouble they did perfecting the engine and interior and then said "We forgot the steering! Just use the one from the Camry".

No way dude, I keep it on normal, if I left it on PWR mode I would be refilling every 3 days ! but I know what u mean

Completely tru man, steering is like a floating boat.
Thankfully for us they sell a steering damper.. which I have en route as we speak.. also being dropped a full 2" is helping me out and yet I feel as if I need to get the rear fsport sway bar.

Great thing about our cars is that the typical "light to light" racer doesnt know that there is something outside of an IS250 ... thats always lovely to show them
