Airbag Notice from MBUSA?
Did anyone else get an airbag notice from MBUSA? They are extending 05-06 C class airbag warranty from 4/50k to 10/100k miles. Letter mentions there is an issue with the wiring harness and if you receive a Diagnostics Trouble code 9103 or 9123 they will fix this for free. This causes airbag light to come on.
If you paid to have this fixed they will reimburse you.

Is there a way to check online or through a place to see if ALL the current campaigns/recalls/TSBs have been done to my specific vehicle?
Last time I had my car in a dealership was a bit more than 2 years ago. I don't get notices like I used to. Makes me wonder if a lot of my issues I've had with my vehicle were due to non follow up or re-updated TSBs that could have been covered on the car if I would of took it in, in the past 2 years.

I got my letters and peel and stick thingy too. I just had my SRS harness replaced in my 05 C230K under 3rd party extended warranty. I don't know that I'm going to see if they are due a refund

I did pay a deductible of $75. They added the rumpling fee (disposal fees, etc.) so it wasn't bad - I think it was less than $100.
I was so excited that my extended warranty was already paying off but you're right - I should check it out. It won't make much difference to me, but somewhere there's a principle involved - and maybe a few bucks!

My dealer offered me a "complimentary vehicle safety inspection" which is probably at least partially to find something wrong and charge me to fix it, but it does make a good opportunity to make sure I'm up to date on my campaigns and see about the previous SRS work they did. I guess I could use two tanks of gas!

No letter for me.
I've got precious little time left anyway because I'm at 97,700 miles.
Anyone had this fixed out of pocket? Can you share what it cost?

I got the letter today. I have 2,200 miles left to use this warranty. I'm curious at 1. what the price will be at the dealer to repair out of pocket and 2. if it can be done by someone else.

So I went to Downtown MBZ in LA off Washington & Fig.
SA gave me a call back about 4 hours of turning in the vehicle. Found out they will be doing all repairs and clearing the SRS light for me as well as all necessary harnesses and sensors.
Thanks to Karo for his time and services.
Thanks to Downtown LA MBZ for their time and services. Parts and labor shall be completed Wednesday (they had to order parts and won't be getting in until Wed. morning)
