02 C230 Kompressor door lock issue
Troubleshooting an electrical draw on the car I pulled the fuse (#8) to see if battery still gets drained. Low and behold it does. But installed the fuse again now all locks work unlocking, but the drivers door will not lock. There is no clicking or movement at all. I bought a new door lock mechanism and plugged into the unit before installing and the same thing occured. Well that saved me $98 dollars bu the problem is killing me. ANy ideas of what I might be able to do to correct this issue? Thanks

Just to be clear you replaced the mechanism and it would unlock but not lock right? Did you put the door back together or just have it plugged in. The reason i ask is became if you don't close the door the door won't lock. my car had a similar problem where sometimes the door would not lock or unlock but would not do the pogo thing or anything. But it would always start working the day or so before I too it in to get fixed that has happened like 4 times and like 2 years now.

I only plugged it in, but I did close and lock it as if the door was closed. That was my first thought so I did close the door and still nothing happens.
Even with original one in the car doors closed unlocks fine but does not lock. No movement, no noise no nothing. Samer thing with the new one. Obviously the fuse was good and still is. Just can't quite figure this one out.
