2002 C240 6 spd manual
Question What does it mean?
I was driving home the other day and saw a W203 sedan that was badged a C280. Why would someone badge it C280? A 2.8 liter engine isn't even an option in the W203.......

2.8's not available anywhere in the whole passenger car line up...it's probably a 240, they thought it might be cool to badge it a 280 or something.

actually there is a 280 engine in mercedes linup in other countries

i saw s280 before

just checked www.mercedes-benz.com. There's no 280 anymore. There definitely has been a S280 (or in other class) couple years ago when the 2.8 was still in production tho.
