Wood Grain Replacment Parts

Hello all,
I have bought an OEM dash kit for my C280 in black carbon fiber and most of it fits with the exception of the upper door wood grain panels on all the doors. I called the MB dealrship and was qouted at around $300 a door to reaplace the wood grain panels with a different color (to match the kit) and installation.

Does anyone know if there is a place other than a junk yard to get exact wood grain pieces at affordable prices?

Thanks Ryan

Where did you buy your KIT? If its OEM.....WHY doesn't it fit?

Also, Did you try eBay? or Classifieds Section on this forum https://mbworld.org/forums/classifieds-55/

I bought it from CARID.com, btw a horrible company. Anyway the upper door wood grain pieces dont cover all of the wood grain, you can visibly see the wood grain around the edges.

I bought this when I was deployed with the same mindset as your question (that if its OEM it should be an exact fit) but about 3 months went by from when I bought it and actually got home to install it so they wont let me return it. So now Im just trying to make it work without having to throw out $380 in carbon fiber and I cant resell it knowing that it doesnt fit all pieces of the W203 to someone else. Thanks for the suggestions!

"annoyance" and "self-righteousness", amoung others...
cheaper yet, have existing trim wrapped in CF vinyl as needed.

make sure you really want to affix that shotty trim, bro. id almost take the loss and do something else. id also emphasize the fact to the company you bought the trim from that you were DEPLOYED. Itd take a real a$$hole to not return it that said... plus the fact they obviousy dont fit. i dont understand why they would sell them like that?

Yea they aren't very understanding, I have emphasized many times about my specific situation but they are just the "middle man" from the actual manufacturer and the manufacturer's return policy is 30 days so the website wont budge. Like I said, horrible company, don't ever buy from them.

I did find some CF Vinyl last night for like $50 for a 5ft roll that I think I am going to buy and go with your idea. Just get the panels taken off and rap them myself and have them reinstalled. The vinyl i found is direct match to the kit so Ill just kind of play it I guess. The kit pieces look great its just finding a way to bring it all together without hitting the bank account to hard.
