C-Coupe Mud Guards
Has anyone gotten the C-Coupe Mud Guards yet? I'm trying to decide if I want to get these. I'd love to see a picture.
I'm also curious if they are paintable plastic or rubber. If they are paintable, I might want to paint them to match the car.

I haven't really seen any good pics of them either, but I'm about 95% sure that they're black rubber with the little MB upside-down Y towards the bottom.
They're $107 for the set. I'm thinking of having them put on if and when I ever get my Renntech spoiler installed.

I'm definitley interested in the med flaps too. A car tends to stay cleaner longer when all that road stuff isn't being thrown on it by the front tires.

Well, I went ahead and added them to my car order. When my car gets delivered, I'll take some pics of what they look like.

they are rubber... i haven't seen them on a sedan or coupe but i have seen them at the dealer... if you paint it, the paint may crack because of it's flexibility.. i was thinking of buying a set and painting them too..but it may look even worse with the cracking paint....
i did see a white 3 series with splash guards on and it didn't look all that bad... it would have looked better if it was all white.. just my 2 cents

It would be interesting to find out how many owners opt for the mud flaps. There is a plus and a minus to them.
Plus: It will extend the life of your paint especially with road debris, dirt etc. Less chance of damage to the body.
Minus: It kinda looks dorky and it may ruin the cleans lines on the lower half of the body.
I think it's a really tough call. However this question is not justification for a poll though.

My Miata was my first mudgard-less car, and I regreted it every time I washed it, went out for a short drive, and now had mud/water marks up the sides.
While there's isn't that much rain here in Orlando, we do seem to have a varied collection of sprinkler induced street puddles, especially in my neighborhood. Anyways, I ended up promising myself that my next car "would" have mudguards.
Black isn't that bad, as the tires are black and they tend to blend into that. Color coordinated would be nice, but not crucial.
