Nice, your project is gonna look insanely sick!!! I was thinking of black wheels but people told me you won't be able to see the etching and the spokes real well so don't go with black . I would have loved to go with Matte Black.


It's semi gloss. That sounds like a great idea. That R with the same color as the brakes. I still don't know what's a good color to paint the brakes. My whole car theme wont go well with it...atleast that's how I feel. What do you guys think?

my vote goes for black and yellow.. black rims, yellow calipers. but that's just me. i think the mag will look real good too depending on the caliper color, though.

i always wondered why not that many people go with black calipers, though. i think those would look good depending on what the wheel is like. i may have to try it..

I currently have white calipers and it looks like crap. When I wash my car they look good but the next day they get dirty from the brake dust and looks like shyat!! I think black will make the caliper look smaller. Usually vibrant or lighter color make the caliper pop out more.

I have one wheel (MAG) already back from the paint shop. It looks pretty good but I need an actual MAG to see the difference. I'll post it up tomorrow once I have it on the car. I need to hurry up and decide the color of the calipers so I can have the bolts painted that color too. And I'm going to take LorinserCClass's tip and paint the R the same color as bolts and caliper.

I was shooting for red. But not red red but some unique red.

Although it looks nice in some ways, I think there's too little contrast when you have black calipers with black wheels.

yeah, definitely. probably not the best picture to advocate my point ha. still pretty unique if you can get a good rim on there color-wise.

I want to. I would have done yellow or orange but I have no other contrast. With red I think my htaillights are red and it might look good?

i think red is played out a little too much but that's just me. it's definitely good for contrast with the tails.

i dont know.. i had my mind set on yellow but after reading your thread im confused on what color to go with too.

are you gonna do a bbk set up? i think yellow works well with that, but red for the smaller stock calipers.

I really don't wanna spend money on a BBK. My car has the C32/C55 brakes but who knows maybe down the line. But I rather put that money towards the turbo project

Mikey is liking it! I think Orange would be a great color contrast, and not just because I'm an insane Bronco's fan. However, Yellow would look really nice too. Whatever you do don't do red, it's played out.

Yes it is, he's enjoying himself a little too much. Since your car is white, I think it's a blank canvas. I think the metallic blue wheels with the metallic orange calipers would be a really nice look. Should we have someone photoshop those two together? I'm thinking about buying those brakes for my car, they'll look sweet, even with my stock wheels.

I went to pickup the second wheel and I came across an issue. The guy told me that there was wheel bearing grease in the center of the wheel. He also showed me my tire and on the inner side it was all worn out (little bit more than the outer side). My tires pressure was too low. The problem is the inner tire was bumpy. I use to hear this humming noise but thought my tires were just noisy. Now I think my bearing is shot. When I changed my rotors I think I might have tightened it too much.

Does anyone know if a shot bearing would make my tire get worn like that?
