i think you should be fine if you plan to bolt it on. i would recommend bolting it on instead of using self tapping. i have 4 bolts on mine, 2 in the middle, and two in the sides. then i kept my existing self tapping ones. i think i have around 8 total. i just had a bad experience before when i didnt bolt it on, my right side almost fell off.

yeah ive heard people talk about it flying off at high speeds and stuff, and breaking when they hit a big dip or something, definitely dont want that to happen. and DC roads SUCK *****, there are so many potholes and sh*t around here.

Hector!

The ride is CLEAN man! I like the impact stripes as well as the grill. Looks good with the original one painted black. At first I didnt want to paint it as I thought it accented the wheels well, but after I painted it black. SOO much cleaner! Good stuff bro!

Thanks bro! I wasn't digging the CL grill look anymore and wanted everything cleaner. Impact strips came from Wardsweb, but this is Gary@suvneer's product. Fitment is spot on!

hey bro, i used the following:

my wife's hair dryer......hold it around 30sec per letter

take it out by using your dental floss, just slide it in, per letter, once it's hot it's pretty easy to slide it in.....lol... that didnt sound good

my used golfsmith membership card and goof off. spray it on the residue, let it stand about 1min or so. scrape it out and wipe it off with a terry cloth

finish it off with a little wax

then your good to go!

for some reason while typing it, this sounded dirty....lol well i did get my hands dirty! bwahahaha

Nice rotors you got there ;-) I'd suggest going with a Pioneer AVIC. A little more expensive (OK, double the price), but everything is built into it. No buying a Bluetooth add on, and a navigation add on. The Axxess ASWC is stupid easy to program, and the directions make it almost idiot proof.

Yeah, I did get the Scosche POS, but will be changing it out once the CF one is back in stock from the guy who did Rollln's. I absolutely LOVE my AVIC Z120-BT. I highly recommend it, but the Kenwoods have good rep too. Expect to spend $900 or more to get on with everything (except satellite) built in. However, if you buy all the stuff, and come up here I'll help you put it in ;-) I learned a lot when Phi installed mine, and now I feel confident doing it myself (especially since I took it back out and changed out the steering wheel controls!)

if you have a phone capable of doing video out and mirroring its functions (i.e. droid incredible)... you dont need a fancy head unit. just any standard double-din media center.

i have an avic-D3 with ipod, reverse camera, bluetooth, steering wheel controls, etc...

but ever since i started outputting my droid on the screen and through the audio, i only really use the bluetooth and the audio. the whole system feels newer too. i highly recommend...

I'm a Pioneer fanboy, I admit it (home theater receiver is a Pioneer Elite, TV Pioneer Kuro...) My issue is having to buy all the separate components to do all the things I want it to do. If it's iPod/iPhone ready, then why should I have to spend another $100 to play an iPod through my system? The Pioneer AVIC, and Kenwood DNX are both solid units. but I've also heard good things about the Eclipse (mostly from Phi ) I'd find out which one is going to do everything you want with the least amount of extra crap, and go with the cheapest.

BTW, the AVIC Z110 and Z120 are the EXACT same hardware, and you can update the Z110 to the Z120 software really easily.
