Now that is pretty cool! To bad you have to use an Android to do it

The Pioneer AVIC, and Kenwood DNX are both solid units. but I've also heard good things about the Eclipse (mostly from Phi ) I'd find out which one is going to do everything you want with the least amount of extra crap, and go with the cheapest.

BTW, the AVIC Z110 and Z120 are the EXACT same hardware, and you can update the Z110 to the Z120 software really easily.

I have heared good things about kenwood. Man your pioneer is expensive..LOL price of coilovers already..big baller..LOL

What you think of this?

My needs are mostly the importance of this ranking:

Phone in car
GPS
Iphone to work or ipod

That's it!

OK, this post is going to take a while for me to write, but now that we know what your requirements are, hopefully I'll be more helpful.

The Kenwood DDX418 seems great. Except for ONE LITTLE THING. You have to buy this in order to have navigation KNA-G610. (best price I found for it was $336.99) Which jacks the price up to about the same as you'd be spending for one that has it all integrated.

I suggest you instead get one of these, until your ready to go Baller status:

Kenwood DNX6160

Pioneer AVIC-X910BT

Clarion NX501

None of them will require you to buy anything extra in order to do everything you want, and all are great systems. Hope this was helpful.

Sick ride!!!

Can you give me some information about your wheels? Are you running 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 in rear? And whats your tire sizes? Also, did you have to use any spacers or is everything clearing fine? Lol and lastly, is the car dropped or are you running stock sport suspension?

Im trying to get new rims and cant decide between 19s and 18s. I have a c230 Sport so I'm afraid of rubbing etc on 19's

ive got an 06 c230 sport and have 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 and it is REAL close. 225/40 tires in the front and 255/35 in the rear. when i turn the front wheels all the way to one side, the front of the tire touches the front of the wheel well, however, that is ok because you're never going to turn the wheel that sharp unless you're going under 5 mph. rear wheels are ok though. i have an offset of 38mm in the front and had to get 10mm spacers to make it clear the caliper so make sure you look at the offsets. usually a 30-35 works for the front depending on the style of rim, but since mine and hector's have the lip on them, it makes the spoke sit further in so you probably need at least a 30mm offset or less.

Thanks bro. i'm running 19x8.5F offset = 32 with 235/35/19 and 19x10R offset =35 with 265/30/19. Plug and play for me no spacers used....for now..lol...however i changed all my lugs.

I'm sitting on stock sport suspensions. I have no rubbing whatsoever. It really depends what your preference is for the wheels. some members find 19's heavier, as for me, i'm more for the look, so the bigger the better. i don't track my car whatsoever as this is my daily driver. 18's also look good if you plan to drop it eventually. But i really prefer 19's and planning to do a drop soon.

Well I've been looking around alot and came across your car and it just seems that the 19's are perfect for that car, all it needs is maybe a inch or a half drop. I'm definitely getting the same size rims as yours, probably with Tein springs, thanks for your reply

so you have a 32mm offset in the front and it doesn't hit the caliper? i have a 38mm offset with 10mm spacer(which is equivalent to 28mm) and it BARELY clears the caliper, like about the same as stock, so I definitely can't go any lower. i think 30mm might clear but it would be too close for comfort. maybe your lip isn't as wide as mine?

yes bro doesnt hit the caliper but is pretty close. you might probably have a wider lip in front than mine.

Ever consider just buying some fx-r projectors and retrofitting them on your OEM lights

btw, where did you get that blacked out grille and how much do they run? im thinking of getting one, maybe it would match nicely with the lip and black depos.
