LOL ... funny to see the loaner they gave you is capable of semi-off road ... jusst right for SA roads !
Dropped and stiffened is not an easy thing to live with in SA judging by the roads i've seen there, far too easy to loose front lips as well heading off the street into parking lots etc.
Nice to see the transformation through from day one in one thread

Euro impact strips and grill update
First off, i'd like to thank Wardsweb for the Euro impact strips he gave me for free. Thank you so much Bro it turned out great! My clears went to Mike too. Pay it forward they say.
In addition, the strips are from Gary@Suvneer, fitment is 100% on the spot!
For some of you folks that are curios about what goes on with the bulb when deleted, i was lucky enough to get a few pics. I wrapped mine with aluminum foil as majority recommended.
I went back to OEM grill but instead painted it flat black, looks a lot cleaner now. Grill might be up for sale just in case my buyer does not push through, i'll post it on classifieds.
I will take better pics by tom of the whole car after i wash it. Here are some from today. Enjoy!

Brakes and calipers next for me. I just purchased some drilled rotors for the rears from classifieds. Then i plan to paint my calipers because i have Brembo logo's already for the front.

You're right bro. That's next on my list now, then i think my front is good to go!

What color are you going to paint them? I don't know whether to leave mine the way they are or paint them..

I'm glad its all working out for you. Always happy to help our a fellow MB junkie. You'll have to stop by sometime so I can better check out your ride. The rain last time kind of put a damper on things.

That made a huge difference to your ride! I love the matte black grill, it sets it off perfectly. As soon as I get the clears you sent installed I'll take pics. Maybe I'll even make it down to SA before you leave for the coast.

either black or red. i'm leaning on black just in case i decide to change my wheels in the future silver or something. but i got red paint already too, and it might have a good contrast with my look now. still undecided. ill see when the rotors come one..hehe

That front end does look good
Funny thing about those "euro" impact strips is that, i'd like yours with the side markers, or double them up as additional indicators !! ..... plus, for over here it would look slightly different to the norm !
I'm liking that Lip on the AMG bumper at the front.
You can also replace the bulb with a suitable small resistor so as not to trip the bulb out warning system
yes, a whole tyre would have created one hell of a mess !!
Burgundy works well for calliper colours.....

Thanks Bro! Got it from one of the sponsors here, JL motoring. It's not that hard to install, however, you cant do it by yourself. have about 10 bolts holding it. Yes it will fit an 07 c230 because you have the AMG bumper

I'm hoping to have some good pics up soon, I'll be doing a photo shoot this weekend if this rain clears up. LukeGeezy might even be coming into town as well so we might do a photo shoot with both our cars.
I was planning on putting 4 bolts in it, two around the center and two at the sides, and then using the 6 screws the lip came with to give it some extra support. You think that's good enough?
