Backup nav cd's?

So I bucked up for a new set of the 2010 nav cd’s (not dvd) for my ’04 comand unit. I’d really like to make a backup copy to use in the comand instead of the real thing (call me paranoid – I do the same thing with my music cd’s in case they get damaged/stolen, never put the originals in my cars). I thought I had read a thread somewhere on here about how to make/copy the nav cd’s, but have been searching and can’t find it now. Can someone point me to that thread (if it still exists)? I know this is sensitive, so if you’d rather PM me that would be great too. I tried using Roxio and Nero to back up, but they both failed… Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

There is a 21 day trial for this program. It basically just creates an exact copy of the cd. So place each cd in your pc and let it copy it, then it will tell you to insert a blank disk to burn.

Finally got my comand installed and gave this a try. Works great! I'm using the backup CD in my car right now ... piece of mind for these expensive disks.
