Mirror Drifting Solution (Memory Power Mirrors)
For those of you with memory power seats and mirrors with the RH tilt-down feature... There have been occassional discussions here about gradual mirror drifting from the set position. Over the course of several days, the mirrors start pointing down. Easy enough to fix by pushing the memory button, but an annoyance for some.
I have had this problem in my car as well. During my recent B-Service, I brought up this issue. The service advisor knew of a service advisory on this, and they ran a "power mirror function test" and confirmed my mirrors were "losing memory."
I wasn't able to get the service advisory, or "campaign" number, but they did replace two mirror "control units," or electronic modules, one in each door. The part numbers for my C320 Sedan were 203-820-15-85, and 203-820-14-85.
If you are experiencing similar symptoms, just mention "Mirror Drifting" in your service request and these part numbers. They should be able to trace back from the part numbers to the service advisory.

I have had this same problem since I have had the car. The problem gets "temporarily" fixed when I do a manual reset of the preset system. But within a week - the problem arises again. I just had the car in for B Service a couple days ago, but did not say anything, since the last 3-4 times I mentioned it, they could not "reproduce" the problem. Now I can take it back in and have them look at it. Thanks for the info.
