I'm on this right now for my 2000 C230K 195K miles. I've driven over 1400 miles on the car already with no luck, my catalyst monitor is still showing not ready and my sticker were overdue since March. No CEL at all. All other monitors are on ready position. DMV did gave me an open date driving permit so I can drive the car in case I get pulled over. I haven't tried Casper's method yet, but I will tonight when FWY here is LA isn't congested. Wish me luck.
