What would you drive if you didn't get the car you have now??

C230K Coupe/Orion/C4/C5/CD/AMG Spoiler/V60/TeleAid, 2 MGB's
I almost bought the BMW M Coupe, which would have held me over for a while, then prompted me to sell that ugly duckling and find another Benz dealer....
Others considered:
Audi A4 Quattro (two extra doors that I have no use for)
Volvo C70 (FWD, but I was ||<--this close)
BMW 3 (they only offer the iX with 4 or 5 doors?)
Camaro SS (what was I thinking?)
a few used 'vettes & Porsches
oh....and I looked at SUV's....but just couldn't see that happening...

IS300 - thank god I didn.t... the 2001s didn't have ESP (or equivalent) at the time
no idea why we didn't even consider E46
A4 - i wish!
ML320 - my dad got pissed off at one point because of delays with our W203 and thought about cancelling and upgrading to an ML instead (pre-facelift).

I'd be driving my 2003 GTI, I don't know why I have two cars. I just sold my beater (2002 Ford Focus) and got the 2003 GTI 1.8T which is my primary car now since it is more fun. The C320 is actually more of a beater for me since it has all-wheel drive and is my main snow car. Also my C320 is my haul vehicle since it has more room than the GTI.

i'd get another audi b/c dealership is nice here and i like the cars. Maybe even a VW of some sort. Wouldnt mind a 350z (with a whole new interior of course...that interior is POS).

i'd get a used 996 TT 
the TT is almost affordable on a lease....
but to be pratical with something that i could afford now.. i'd probably get an e320 or a clk320.....
i was thinkin bout getting an EVO VIII and a ducati 748 SS.

at the time (latter half of 2000), we were considering RX300 (I didnt like it that much.. plus my dad wanted white with fabric.. I tried to play it as we dont need two large vehicles in the family :o), IS300 (dad ruled too fast/flashy - -although he liked the tach style.. glad we didnt get it as it didn't have stability control at the time), ML320 (if dealer delays our C240)...
given the same situation today, same budget, C230 sport sedan or an Audi A4 1.8T avant quattro would probably be pretty good contenders.
I think we're looking at a CRV/RAV4 as a next purchase..
that said, I'm a big fan of the a4 avant and the G35 coupe right now...
