As much as I love the sound of a turbo spool, I'll take the E55k engine swap any time of the day. You might make it fit but I really dont know. The one in the video looks like fender work has been done to it and the front bumper isn't on.

btw, would the 6 spd tranny in the 06 230 work with that engine or is a new tranny required too?

To be honest with you I don't know if the tranny will hold up.

For starters I believe the c230 6 spd is actually smaller than the one found in the c350 which only has ~70 more hp... that said, even the 6spd in the c350 couldn't stand up to that kind of power (ie why they didn't come from the factory with one)

and beyond that... not sure how they could "tune out" the automatic :p

E55k in a w203 will be sooo sick. Definetly more power than a turbo C350.

Mike told me his C32 is crazy fast and I heard from Rollnnn that Franks C32 requires passengers to always wear a diaper. So can you imagine an E55K engine in a w203??

His w203 is sick. One of the only cars with more power then my C32 when I had it.

But, drivability was crap. Sideways in a heartbeat. And the xfire guys are tearing up trans/diffs/rear ends....btw.

The XF guys are running the c230/SLK rear ends... a c350 as a donor car with the "c32" differential could take the abuse for sure

The C55 isn't going to be laying down as much power as a 55K in our cars. I'm definitely never going to grow a pair big enough to do something like this, but my hat is off to those who do!

LOL, I almost did that with '72 Chevelle 454SS. That thing would smoke the tires at the drop of a hat! I can't imaging that type of power with half the weight

Don't forget the three-piece driveshaft I made with my SRT6 when it hooked like nobody's business! Still haven't tore up a trans but then again, these .6's are pretty stout.

That's always a bad feeling, especially if you get to hear is slapping of the road and into the bottom of your car. Takes some serious torque to accomplish that.

Ya, I went through 4 drive shafts with my C350

I think you know when you have crazy power when you snap a drive shaft
