Car trouble opinions please!
HEY guys sorry quick question?? so i was having all these problems with my c320 took to a shop and one thing they said was that the 13pin connector was leaking (the one that connects to the tranny) well would that cause the transmission to slip or act wierd??? they said it would. cause could be getting low on fluid.
Also i took out the MAF sensor and cleaned it cause it was having trouble starting in the morning... and just hasn't been running very good, it actually seemed to help. the motor has been feeling sluggish like when i step on the gas.. so maybe that was it i'm not sure though. Also on 1st start up a ton of smoke would come out ( non black) and you could smell the rich gas in the smoke..
OH ya one last thing they said that the ambient air temp gadge was not sticking out of the front facia so.....can i buy a new one of these is this a common problem???

The plug can cause those issues. I would say replace plug check tcu for oil. flush fluid if it has not been done and see what happens.
Ok so how many miles? what color was the smoke since it is not black it is not oil burning which is good but it could be coolant which is bad. are there any check engine lights on? what maintenance has been done to the car?

"annoyance" and "self-righteousness", amoung others...
there is a chance the TCU is shot. this is basically the transmission's computer.
it doesnt sound like youre able to do any of the work that trey described above, however it is what your shop will be doing to see how deep the rabbit hole runs... so yes, it sounds like a good diagnosis on their part. let them at it.
and yes the ambient air temp is located on the front fascia. only common when involved in a front end oopsy... curb check to car accident.... so you must not get proper temp reading from your cluster?

hey so the smoke was a white color i guess...just kinda like regular smoke. the check engine light was on and the shop said it was a tranny code. It has 58,000 miles i just got it about 2 weeks ago the maintenance record was in there and looks like it has been kept up well.
well i can change fluid and that but i figured its free might as well have them figure it out.
ya you know i have noticed that it is off, they said maybe its just pushed back. where about is it located so i can try to find it?
