I had an odd vibration at highway speeds, sounded like the wheels were about to fall off and everything shook in the car. Turns out that the parking brake was not releasing completely because the pivot arm (where you adjust it under the back seat) gets rusted and seized . Freeing that arm and heavily lubricating it solved the problem. Because this is totally exposed to the elements, our cars in the rust belt will suffer this problem

mounted and balanced the rim with a brand new tire.
THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE!!
not as shaky as before but i can still feel the vibration when i brake at 60mph or above.
what the hell is wrong with my car????? new lower control arms, new rotors, pads, new rim, new tire, alignment done about 3 times in 2 months, dealer checked it out for $150 and said everything looks good. WHAT THE HELL?? im getting tired of it. any ideas???

Braking Vibrations. Is due to warped rotors. Does the brake pedal pulsate during braking?
Wheel Bearings damaged, Worn or out of adjustment
Caliper not sliding properly due to improper installation or obstructions. Remove and Inspect
Disc not within specifications. Check for excessive lateral runout and parallelism. Have the discs resurfaced or replace them with new ones. Also make sure all discs are the same thickness.
If there is no vibration while driving then its not your tires or your driveshaft. Braking vibrations at high speeds has to do with ur brakes.

CAn it be the same problem?
Hey I tried searching the forum and I dont know if this is the same problem. For me, my car is smooth from 0-60mph. Between 60-70mph the car is very shaky, there is a lot of vibration and I know for sure that it's not the brakes or rotors. Above 70mph the car goes back to normal and drives smoothly. Any idea?
EDITED:
About 3 month ago, my brake rotors were wrap and I felt pulsing at high speed. However, after braking over time the rotors went back to normal and there's no more pulsing for me. I don't think it was a factor in my car vibrating because it happen way before my rotors were wrap.

I know OEM pads/rotors are a lot softer then aftermarket but when you got new rotors and obviously you got pads to did you notice any pedal difference?
