I just got my car dropped!!!

I had a hard time choosing between the Eibach and H&R springs but when with the H&R. Reading the different opinions about the 2 springs drove me crazy. I went to a few shops trying to get the best price on Eibach spring installed and all of them told me I should go with the H&R springs. Over here H&R springs are $350 I told the guy I could get them for about $235 he laughed at me and said yeah right my cost is $300. So I order a set from Tire Rack and showed him how much I paid. I wish I had a picture of his face when he looked at it. Everything online is about $100 or more cheaper then it is in the stores here. I notice no difference in the ride and I didn't even get a wheel alignment. The guy said as long as you don't drop 2" I didnt need it. Any way the front dropped more than I expected, that was my main concern. No more OFF ROAD jokes.

I am going to drop my car this coming saturday. I was wondering if i should expect anything that will go on? Does the ride really have no difference than before? Do you feel more bouncier?

Thanks and good luck with your ride.

no difference in the ride?? there is a really really big difference in the ride.. it is much stiffer and you really feel the road.... so it wont be a comfortable ride anymore! i found that after i installed my H&R springs... there was still a gap inbetween the tire and the fender.... so i had them cut... now it looks perfect. actually... could be 1 cm lower in the front...

thats what i was thinking. i dont understand when everyone says it hardly makes a difference. thanks for being honest about it. anyways for that reason i will just stay with my stock 16s and forget about springs and wheels. ride comfort is more important to me, which is why i bought a mercedes benz to begin with
