What are the factory OEM tires on a 2006 c280?

Any particular reason why you need to know this bit of info? Usually OE tires are not the best choice for replacements. New models of tires come out every few years and usually offer improvements in ride, grip, wear, etc. If you are shopping, I'd go to Tirerack and just decide shop for the set that best meets your needs.
An odd thing, usually TireRack lists the OE tire when you select a vehicle, but for some reason, they don't for that model/year. Perhaps MB used many different tires.

they usually came with Michelin MXV4 Plus, which are the worst tires I have ever had, slippery in the wet is an understatement. These tires are the darling of the OEM's, someone at Michelin sales must be sleeping with the purchasing agents at the various car companies as these tires have no redeeming factors other than they last long and seem to end up on Honda's, Acura, MB, BMW, VW's to name a just a few of many OEM placements.
There are so many better choices and these OEM spec tires are severely overpriced as replacement (even at Tirerack) I think this is how Michelin funded themselves

The Michelin's on my wife's Odyssey are ridiculous. Slip and slide all over the place, I'm happy they are done so I can get her something better.
