First attempt at interior trim mods
I am beginning to wrap my C55 interior trim with CF. I have been experimenting with a few options and I think I have decided to go with real CF wrap and epoxy coat. This is a test piece I wrapped using silver CF look alike material. This center console does not fit my 2005 C55 so I think it might fit a pre face lift W203. If someone could identify that would be great. Anyway, once the project is done, I will be provide this wrapped test piece free of charge to anyone who wants to pay the shipping.
CF wrap should start this Wednesday. I am going to try to document in case I decide to post a DIY thread (not that it hasn't already been done).
If this piece is not for a W203, someone please let me know and I will also offer up in the appropriate forum.

^ +1 the cupholder area is what changed. (I know because I recently went from a 2004 C240 to a 2007 C230) Interesting attempt, very interested to see the results

Out Of Control!!
For what he's done, it's pretty easy - buy 3M CF material on ebay, slap it on the trim piece in question, use a razor to trim it out a bit bigger than you'll need, heat up the spots where there are curves, tuck it behind those areas where it won't show, then do a final cut to size. Pretty simple, especially on the center console. It's harder on complicated curves, like the door pulls.

Yeah, it was not very difficult. The material is not 3M vinyl (DiNoc) it is a fabric. I used spray adhesive on the base part. There is still a lot of surface prep before slapping on the wrap unless you are willing to live with surface fluctuations telegraphing through the wrap.

Wrapping is easy, the only difficult part is trying to put it back together on the console because of the excess materials that was tucked underneath.
If you are going to wrap your door trims, be aware that you have to destroy the enclosure for the driver side window controls.
Best tip I can give you is dont do it all on the same day because your fingers will get burned/get cut by the adhesive spray and the constant tugging and folding of the material.
Good luck!

It is the center console. It is exactly the same shap as my post face lift W203, just with a different cut out for the cup holder, as another post stated. I'm in Knoxville, TN.

That is the shift console from a 2002 C Class. Anyone that saw my earlier post, apologize. I was looking at the pictures from a mobile phone.
I'd take the piece if available and pay shipping.
