Portland, OR Indy?
Anyone? anyone? Have scoured this forum and the *other one* only to find out dated posts listing some indys as good, and others as bad, since thread origination, the "good" ones ended up being listed as bad and vice versa... need some up to date advise.

Hartmann is an excellent indy in Portland. Although I have never used them personally, I have a few friends and co-workers that use them exclusively and swear by them.
The 2 MB dealers in Portland/Wilsonville are really fond of marking up parts 150%+ over retail. The Wilsonville dealer is not very service oriented either. I had a really tough time getting them to take care of warranty issues.
Also, I happen to have a fully functional STAR diagnostic system if you ever need some diagnostics or programming.

x2 to what John notes above- Hartmann is good. I also have a great one man shop in SE-- Rife Motors. Scott is a good guy and knows his stuff. PM me if you want him number or google Rife Motors.
