Finally got the wheels on :D

Idk if you guys remember but I bought these AMG turbine rims a while ago and had them sitting for a whileee until I decided to get the bends on them fixed and last week I ordered tires and got the right lug bolts so I put them on the car. 225 40 18 front and 255 35 18 rear. It rubs in the rear a bit on dips and hard cornering but its not too crazy. Probably because these tires are wider than most 255s. I also color matched my door handles and the rear of the headrest because it was scratched up, next is the steering button control plastic . Enjoy

Thanks dude, I love the rims too just a pain to clean lol. I wish i could push the rear out a bit more but too much of a hassle.

You guys think I should tint the windows like 35% and paint my roof gloss black?

Yeah I was suprised too but Federal tires run wide it seems, so the 255 are more like a 265 or something. and the h & r springs dont help. I think its rubbing it makes a squeaky noise on dips and stuff like the tire is touching the inside fender .

those wheels look great . I wouldn't touch that roof... it looks clean as is. For the tints, your car looks better without them but if you're like me, you like to roll presidential style lol.
Modified the front H&R springs as in what??? spill!

A big thumbs up from me. Clean and tight and looking right.

What are the specs on the wheels? Staggered ? Offsets?

Thx Greg

looks brilliant

makes me regret returning these wheels when i bought them a while ago. only reason was because i was scared of fitment issues and didn't want to take the chance.

i'm also really liking your color-matched door handles and head rests... very unique idea and it turned out great.

keep it up

Wheels look great D1no! I love the look of those high spoke count wheels, but would absolutely hate trying to keep them clean.

IMO leave as is with no black roof. Your exterior color makes your car look very clean and sleek as is.

Very nice color matching on the interior. Gives it some depth. Wish I could do that to mine but I have a black car.

Your wheels and drop look really nice as well. Bet those rims require a little time to clean when dirty, but they look great on the car.

Remember, if you do decide to tint your windows, do the moleskin application so as not to scratch the tint.

When I turn the wheel full lock it angles and makes it look lower but its pretty much tucking the front tires anyways. Wheels specs are 18x8.5 front 30 offset and 18x9.5 rear 33 offset. I am using RAD bolts.

Nokiemon you can still paint the interior pieces if you have the aluminum trim, it will match that pretty good. The paint I used it some sort of aluminum thing anyways.

If I do end up tinting it I will do a light 35% so the blue still shows thru. Thanks for the comments guys. Rims clean up decent with high pressure soap and rinse at the car wash .. I should probably get akebono pads..

your car is beautiful man, the 6 spd is definitely the way to go, i love mine!

i got 35% tint on mine and the blue shows through very nicely, get that! and definitely akebono pads, i just put those on mine and not only do they perform well, but they keep the wheels much cleaner!

I hella' wanted to buy this style wheel for the last two weeks when I had to change rims =/

Now I was forced to simply buy new tires for stock wheels. Yuck.

Looks amazing

car is looking really good, looks pretty dumped too for springs... A black roof could look good, will definitely make it more sporty if your looking for that kinda look. Maybe just vinyl and see what you think..
