I also installed my vox two way 6" up front and staged the tweeter on the dash. Installed alpine 6" with built in tweeter on the rears. Upgraded my power amp to Aulux for better sound quality and clarity. Upgraded my woofer to a 10" cubig..
Tried it out and I'm laking it. The bass sound is more rounded and solid, the overal mid and high tone is also clearer and crispier.

it helps the staggered look appear more aggressive if its more concave in the back. BBS LM's are nice, but in my opinion, too flat.

Ah okay I completely understand what you mean now. These bbs lm reps I'm getting are actually staggered, 9 at the back and 8 infront. However they don't cave in like the ones you posted, so you recommend those vmr or hre lines instead?

I was just offered a preowned pristine condition bbs lm .. Original.. Will cost me about 3200usd.. Is it worthed? Compared to the rep I'm aiming, priced at 700usd brand new. And I haven't even haggled..
I just like the model and don't really care if its 3 piece or not.. Is there any huge differences?

Midnight, those brands you mentioned are very hard to find down here. The only leads I get are Volks, and all are 19" size.. I prefer to stay at 18" max.. Any other recommendation? I might jump in for the bbs tomorrow. Should I get the bbs centre caps or just the Mercedes centre caps?

That's a pretty good price for real BBS wheels, if they are pristine. In the end it's only what you like that matters. Don't worry about our opinions. As for 3 piece, or not it doesn't matter.

Mskembo, I'm not trying to showoff, but I don't mind shelling out the cash for the real deal. However I'd like to know what significant advantages of that extra 2500 will give me other than being a 3 piece forged rim..
Regarding what I like, I agree with you, but nonetheless I appreciate highly on your (and others) recommendations.. I don't want to dress my mb too cheesy hehe..

Typically the BBS wheels are lighter and stronger than any repoductions. That's the big difference. If you have the funds available, I would definitely buy the real thing.
