I got f1 spec seats. Don't remember what type unfortunately but I just went Ito the store, sat around and grabbed the ones comfy to me.. They were 400 for the pair. Best thighs I bought was status racing brackets from vivid racing.com (company that makes brackets is called planted) the brackets I got were for the clk, I believe I mentioned it in this thread earlier on somewhere.. Brackets fit perfectly. And yeah:.. Lol covered A pillars in suede from Joanne fabrics. And I'm so glad I painted the b pillars black because they looked sooo dirty and ugly lol.

P.S if anyone an help out... My sunroof screen pulls open and closed but the window itself won't open or tilt.. This has happened in the past randomly when I first got the car, but went away after I turned the car off.. What do you guys think? How can I re-configure the moonroof? I think it might be because I unplugged every single wire from everywhere that's why it needs to be configured, or maybe I blew a fuse?

You have to re-synch it (just did this after new battery/alt this week).

Close the fabric cover and hold the switch for a good 15 count after it's fully in place. That should re-sync everything.

It's in the manual, btw.

Tommy.. I love you. Lol no homo. I did this before but forgot since I haven't done it in so long. Dont I also have to hold it back for like 5 seconds or something to resync the doors? I had to do that before

If the windows are not working as one-touch up and down, yes. But the windows and sunroof should be independent of each other. For example, my sunroof has to be re--synched about every 2-3 months, for some reason, while my windows generally are very good.

Thanks tommy. Windows and everything is working great. Just waiting for those couplers tomorrow.. -.- even got my heat shield on and everything... Just waiting for my blue couplers lol will have to go out a buy me a cutting tool at home depot too to make sure I can cut my intake pipe and get it just the right size... I guess for now I can use just the filter with no pipe extending it so far but I'll rather wait to do it all at once.
Will be taking off the valve cover sometime next week to paint it black.. So I'm going to order the valve gasket tomorrow, might as well replace it...

Installed the air filter on this hot as day. Felt like the car can breathe better.. Noticed the aluminum pipe did get prett hot, filter was all good though. So just gotta get that heat wrap for it since summer is starting.

P.s. Ive opened up both intake holes so more air can come into the engine from outside... Might enlarge the driver side hole more so more air can hit the filter directly..

A really good thing to do is at the top of the hood, near the window, you can pop the hood up a bit so some hot air escapes as you drive.. But that's some Honda/Jdm stuff and you probably don't wanna do that to a Benz so it's up to you.

Got myself a VIP knot and pillows

And got the car washed

Ignore the scrape.. The front lip will eventually cover that lol.

Is that blue tint on your fogs? Hmm.... whatever floats your boat

So, what's a VIP knot and pillows? i dont get it

I wanted the amg clk seats so bad.. But no.. The seats are too wide.. Measuring from bolster to bolster they won't fit.. And I've had the f1 spec seats in the car for a few months now lol. I took out the rear seats and I wanted to cover the jankiness with something nicer so I got the junction produce mat and pillows. Google junction produce. It's a high end VIP style company. Have you heard of VIP cars? Check it out. It's a pretty interesting scene. But bags are cheating so I stayed on coils lol..I'm going to get a photoshops once I finish up with my front lip, grill and other little few things, or maybe I'll break out my moms canon 60d for a quick few shots because the iPhone just doesn't do it.

Yeah it's blue tiny on my fogs... I haven't really seen that a lot so I hose blue instead of the yellow. I think it turned out really interesting, the fogs are real at night, pretty cool (IMO) lol
I haven't gotten the lip yet, but it's the Brabus style lip

wow ive been gone.. sorry guys.. been pretty busy... getting new wheels again so i did a quick photoshoot one day with my buddy from FNCY Studios

http://vimeo.com/m/45418846 played around with a video even though we were short on the proper tools at the time so next time will be better. and took a few photos.

http://fncystudios.blogspot.com/2012/07 ... e.html?m=1

i'm getting CCW's...... gonna attempt putting those on.... front will be 18x9.5 with about 7 offset.. not completely sure because i was given a "guess" at the offset >.> (wth) and 18x10.5 in the rear with either 14 offset or 10 offset... as far as i know this is the most aggressive ive seen so far on the coupe.....

so this should be fun =>

Oh man... Just realized I never mentioned that I had sold my car last year. About this time and picked up a sporty little 2003 z4 that I currently have for sale to get a bigger car

selling it stock suspension and wheels so it looks like this for 14k.

i ended up selling the coupe on the tein suspension, with aftermarket recaro reps, asp pulley, aftermarket weighted shift knob, 7 inch touch screen stereo, intake and exhaust for 6k.

Damn, love the Z4. Have always liked them; if I had a 3-car garage, it would definitely be the car I wanted in there.

Good luck with the sale. What's the next car going to be?

thanks tommy, i realized the z4 was way over my head in the price range since i had to borrow some cash from my parents to buy it and it kind of flushed out my bank account, i did some good thinking over all the modifying that i've been doing and i'm in a serious relationship with someone so i'm just trying to plan ahead so i've decided the best option is to sell the car, get myself a facelift e46 330i for half the price.... and get a csl front bumper and csl trunk haha. that way i can keep my suspension and wheels from the z4

on another note... i also found out i have allergies to pollen and all that good stuff so everytime i'd take the top off, i would start getting a soar throat and my nose would get stuffy as if i was getting sick for a few hours or a day but it never made sense why because i was doing it in on the hottest days of summer, but then after a visit to the doctors it all made sense, and i don't see a reason to keep a convertible car ( as much as i loved the experience of it ) when i can't even enjoy it.

Sold your C Coupe for 6K? ! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Gawd, you should have said something here on the forum.
Wow....did the person who got the car appreciate what they were getting?
I doubt it.

I would have so much loved to have traded wheels with you, and a few other things,
especially considering all the work you put in.
I'm sure you could have gotten more than that.
How many miles did it have when you sold it ?

yeah, i sold it with a lot of my modifications still on it, i took off the ccw wheels that i had last on there , still have the adapters for them that i've been lagging on selling form 5x112 to 5x120 fitment, did you ever see them with the teal CCW wheels on? 18x9.5 front +10 offset and 18x10.5 +9 offset i believe. I'm sure the person did not appreciate any of it at all, the only thing left that i had to do was tune the ecu to remap the fuel and get a front brabus lip and get the rear trunk spoiler :/ but i sold it at 155k miles. i'll dig around and see if i can pull up some pics, not everyone will like it since the fitment on the wheels was a little intense for everybody to like lol
