Pics of Tow/Trailer Hitch (Anyone?)

I have searched and searched, and found a ton of threads about people wanting trailer hitches but there are no threads with anyone having installed a hitch.

I know, everyone on here thinks it is sacrilegious to put a hitch on a MB especially a C55, but I have expounded in a previous post why I can't just buy a cheap pickup. I have spent a lot of time in Europe and they tow with everything over there.

So if anyone has one installed, specifically one of the Curt Hitches, like JCWhitney sells, I just want to see how it looks. if it is mostly hidden I think I am going to go for it. I saw an MR2 the other day with the perfect hitch because the ball mount was down mounted so when you remove the ball you can't tell there is a receiver even installed, I haven't found anything like that for any C-classes though.

Thanks in advance.

I have a hitch from JC Whitney, all you see is a little square below the bumper it does not stick out and hangs 1" below. I put a black cap on it and really it is no big deal, I need the utility to put on my bike rack and to tow either my Laser or Catamaran behind. It does come in handy when I need to pick up a bunch of stuff at the Homer or the garden center. Getting a cheap pickup or tow car is not in the cards as I live in an urban center and parking and insurance is at a premium. I can post a picture when I get back from holidays in Sarasota

To install you need to take the bumper off, and since I was doing all that work I decided to install parking sensors as well. A US spec car is easier to install than a Canadian one as our bumpers are reinforced and the internal structure has to be cross drilled, rather than drill and fish

Also can you take pics of the install from underneath... Sorry to be such a bother on this, I am just trying to determine if the passenger side exhaust will get in the way where it cuts behind the differential.
