Lowering Q: Where to get socket + alignment
2004 C230 Sedan
From all the lowering threads I've seen people recommend the H&R/TEIN springs.
I've lowered plenty of cars in my time but I read that I'll be needing a large torx socket approximately 18mm? Where can I get this tool and shouldn't it be called E-XX (what specific size)? I already have 2 types of spring compressors but this is definitely something I don't have. I've been to Sears and Harbor Freight and nothing comes close to this size.
This is my first MB so as far as alignment goes, I have no idea if a regular shop is capable of doing an alignment or if I need to go specifically to MB dealer or not. I could try local performance shops but would a regular Treadquaters be able to do this task?

You can break the nut on the opposite side lose using an Impact gun, and believe it or not, you can then slip an 18mm 12point socket on the head of the E-20 bolt and carefully loosen the nut without any harm.

I just used 12point metric sockets to remove all my bolts when installing my coilovers. Look in the DIY thread and read the teins coilover install, it'll tell you everything you need.
