hello to all,

i have 2003 w203 with command,

what cable i need to connect ipod classic 80gb to my command

attention, car is for euro market...

can i change music with steering wheel or command....?

I'm not sure if there's a difference between the US and Euro systems, but mine came with an AUX input in the glove box. You can either use the 3.5mm jack out of the iPod directly or do what I did which is more complicated. I got a thing from Monster Cable called iTV that connects to the dock port, it goes to female RCA's, barrel connector to an RCA to 3.5mm, into the AUX. You can charge from the lighter with a mini USB.

Early models do not have the cable needed like the later models did. If you search here it's been done but it requires lots of custom wiring, and even then I don't think the steering wheel controls worked.

How do you have an AUX input in the glove box??? Do you have the Command 2.0 or a normal radio? I have an o1 C320, how do I know if I have the AUX in my glove box?

You look in your glove box lol
If you have the command you might have it already if you don't have command you don't have it.

The 01-04 radios with tape don't have a easy way of adding aux in. You can either buy a adapter that takes the place of the cd changer and gives you aux in over fiber. Or open up the tape drive and solder in an aux input.

I was aware of the soldering thing, but what is this adapter you speak of? Linky?
I only use my CD changer since I can't connect my iPhone. I would sacrafice it for an AUX input. Plus I would have all of the room in my glove box!
