You vastly underestimate the talents of some of the members on this forum. Just as a bit of background, I'm a network security consultant and have a lot of experience in penetration testing (hacking network resources for legitimate business purposes). That being said, it's really good practice not to put any of that type on information out on the internet.

I'm a consultant and the company I'm working for currently has a very immature ITSEC team, so I use mostly cheapware/freeware stuff. NMap, MBSA, Sara, and I used Nessus until they jacked the price up to $1200/yr. I'm currently working on a pen tool utilizing the Metasploit Framework
, but won't have the kinks worked out of that for a bit.Currently I've been doing a lot of forensics, and after action type of work. I've gotten to be very good friends with BackTrack, I even gave it a partition on my HD. My passion at this moment is to build a pen testing platform (on a laptop) that is so easy to use that I can hire professionals that have physical security perimeter breaching skills, so all they have to do is find a live wire, and hit "GO". Then I can finally rule the world (about damn time)

I lived in Manhattan growing up and then my parents moved to Albany area after I joined the military so now I go visit them ever now and then but yeah the city life is nice but there is so much more to NY than just the city! Hudson Valley is beautiful and so it further upstate!
